Web Design & Marketing

SFCC vs Shopify

Designing cohesive, conversion-driven campaigns with strategic landing pages and marketing assets.

In Q3 and Q4, I contributed as a designer on two campaigns aimed at encouraging businesses to switch their eCommerce platform from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify. My role included designing wireframes and comps that served as the foundation for the live landing pages, creating LinkedIn ads and email graphics, and designing a 22-page whitepaper that outlined the benefits of making the switch. Collaborating closely with marketers, developers, and content strategists, I helped ensure a unified message and consistent visual identity across all assets.

For the Q3 campaign, I took the landing page from concept to completion—starting with wireframes and comps and ultimately building a fully responsive page in Elementor. I gathered feedback throughout the process, refining the design to align with campaign goals. To enhance functionality, I implemented custom CSS and JavaScript to create reusable components for future pages.

Banner Ads

To reach the LinkedIn audience, I designed a range of banner ads—some directly promoting the campaign, while others highlighted client success stories or the company’s migration services. Maintaining consistency was key, so I ensured the ads aligned seamlessly with the emails and landing page materials while staying true to my company’s branding.

Q3 Whitepaper

I was responsible for transforming raw copy from a Google Doc into a polished, 22-page whitepaper. With only three days to complete the project before a hard deadline, I put in extra hours to ensure it was delivered on time. Despite the tight turnaround, I focused on creating clean, structured layouts within a cohesive design system to make the content easy to digest. The whitepaper played a key role in supporting the campaign’s messaging and outreach.

Not only did the campaign meet all of our deliverables, but it also exceeded expectations by effectively engaging the target audience. Thanks to a strong combination of content and design, the campaign drove meaningful results and generated qualified leads. We achieved a 9% open rate for cold prospects and 38 total qualified leads, demonstrating the impact of the design and messaging on reaching the right audience.

Q4 Campaign

This campaign served as a follow-up to the first, shifting focus from neutrality to highlighting the key technical challenges of migrating from SFCC to Shopify. I was brought on to handle all design aspects, excluding the whitepaper. Building on the design theme established by the other designers on the team, I adapted it into various campaign assets, including the landing page, ads, and emails, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

Q4 Landing Page

The Q4 landing page acted as a central hub for all things related to SFCC to Shopify migrations, housing both the campaign whitepapers and CQL's platform evaluation service. Like the previous landing page, I took it from wireframe to a fully responsive live site, reusing components where possible to streamline the process.

Marketing Collateral

In addition to the landing page, I designed various assets to support the campaign, including prospect marketing emails, welcome emails, LinkedIn ads, and email banners. These materials played a key role in reinforcing the campaign’s message, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for prospects from initial contact to conversion.
